Book Review of Robert Allen's
"Nothing Down for the 2000s"
"Nothing Down for the 2000s" by Robert Allen is a wonderful book for investors seeking to purchase property with little or no money down.
Packed full of one creative idea after another, you'd be hard pressed to not find one or two ideas that would work for you in a real estate purchase.
Robert Allen has been around for many years. His first edition of this book, "Nothing Down," came out over twenty years ago. He has since published updated versions to show that no matter what decade we're in or what the economic climate is like, these techniques will work if you take the time to learn and apply them.
I must admit, when I read this book the first time (I've since read it again), I honestly thought "I could never do that!" for many of the ideas presented in this book. But he has a way of making you open up your mind to the possibility that the only one stopping you from achieving your goals is you self-limiting thoughts and behavior.
Anyone can use these techniques, as have thousands of his students over the years (he teaches seminars as well). As of this writing, I am in the process of using several of these techniques to purchase a multi-family building, something I would have never thought possible if I hadn't read this book and realized I could "afford" it, since I don't need my own money to make the deal happen.
Mr. Allen has written other books as well that I'm sure one day will be reviewed here. If you haven't had the pleasure of reading a book lately that truly instills in you the belief that the sky is the limit, then please do yourself a favor and read this great book!
